Picked up this none-working solid Z-back for $100 about 5 mins from my house. It has MKII in it and a 19" monitor so I decided to get rid of all of that malarkey and take it back to a SFII:CE Hyperfighting.

Found a guy local giving away a free 25" K7000 on CL, raced over there and nabbed it, nice and clean, needs a recap and fly though.

I wanted to do something a bit more fun that the boring SFII logo just floating on the side of the cab, so I used some of the existing art out there just to make it a bit more fun. I know the art style is from a newer generation of the franchise so purists may not agree with it, but whatevs

I may have a marquee for you, my mk2 cab came with it, havnt looked at it in some time but I believe it's SF2 New warriors

Stripped the control panel down, and as I suspected it had an original Street Fighter II CPO buried under there in very yellowed condition so that had to go.

New CPO from This Old Game, clamped up for alignment, used a flashlight behind the panel to see the holes through the CPO

25" Monitor dialed in and looking sharp. Made a kick harness and wired all the CP, everything playing and responding the way it should.

That looks great, man! Where did you find these things, cuz I check craigslist at least twice daily (usually more), and didn't see no $100 MKII cab, and certainly not a free 25" K7000. :p
