I never see Street Fighter cabinets get any love. I don't think I've seen one that didn't have the joysticks all lubed up with pizza grease and some kids initials etched into it.

Anyways, here's a before picture. Sorry, I don't have one from the front.

All bran new decals from GameOnGraphix. That control panel has all of the buttons in the wrong places. They were set up for a different game. We fixed that with sheet metal, a drill, a new overlay, and a new plastic overlay. What a process.

Nice... I have a Street Fight II CE that also needs some restoring. But Im in the middle of doing a TMNT. And then I have an NBA Jam after that. So hopefully after the NBA Jam I can work on my Street Fighter..

I know that SF II was released on different cabs. But on that style of cab, was it released with yellow Tmolding, or you just did it that way?

I traded the black for yellow. They are originally black, but since street fighter doesn't have full side art, I figured yellow t molding would help spice it up. I would say it was the perfect choice in color.

Im in he middle of doing 1. Monitor issues, but game/plays/sounds OK. My project SF2 CE looks worst than yours, lol. Someobody help me in Sacramento with the monitor, please, lol.

You will have an easier time than I did. I'll have to find a 'before' picture of the control panel. It had the wrong graphics on it, and it had so many extra holes drilled in it, it was like Swiss cheese. All you'll have to do is hit gameongraphix or some place, for a new cpo. You don't even have to worry about cutting that angled edges, because yours is strait across. Good deal.

Ended up just dropping a new monitor in it. Didn't want to deal with a cap kit or chassis. 19inch monitors are fairly cheap.

That's a nice job, and actually like the yellow T-molding. I restored a CE last summer, and a world warrior last fall. These are so fun to do, who knows what my next project will be.

I'm working on a SFII CE in a custom cabinet right now lol.
Still need to finish the cp and need to redo some of the artwork but it's coming along. :)

I restored a red Z SF2 Turbo Hyper about 3 years back and I am currently restoring another one that has some damage on it. Haven't decided if I'm going to keep it red or paint it Capcom Blue seeing the Z's also came in blue according to the original company flyer I came across on the web. Figured do something a bit different and they will still look good next to each other.

I'll post photos soon of my current Z and the project.
