NEW Street Fighter Deluxe Pneumatic Cabinet pickup

Awesome score! Welcome to the club. Does the pneumatic PCB work?

Seems to have a connection issue. it was working but the pneumatic controls weren't connected. There is a pneumatic pcb in the cabinet so I have a extra board to work with. I'll see if I can get it working today after work.

Let me know how it plays with the pneumatic controls. Also, hopefully, we can finally get those pneumatic controls 3d printed. I'd like to convert mine back .

Sweet. Post a vid of the play with those controls as well. I haven't played using those controls since its year of issue.

How does a 2 button setup work when the standard cabs are 6 button?

The harder you hit the button determines which type of punch/kick it registers. Needless to say, these didn't last that long.

Yup. Pneumatic sensors on the main PCB, I think, were able to detect the different pressure waves, for a little while. Heh.

The PCBs for the pneumatic cabinets were actually special PCBs. They could use the pneumatic buttons OR the additional buttons. So I think Capcom had an idea that it might not be too great of an idea. Later revisions of the SF1 PCB removed the pneumatic connections so they only work with the 6-button setup.

That's what I gather from the various places I've read about it.

This game is absolutely horrible, but that cabinet is one of the sweetest looking machines I have EVER seen!
I also googled this machine a few months ago and couldn't even come up with a single picture of it in collectors hands... definitely not too many of these still around! Does anyone else on here even have one?

Recapped the monitor. Wg k5501. Popped in the 2nd pcb. It works but it's not starting a game. Tried jumping the ground to player 1&2 start.l

Congrats on the rare pick-up. Join the rare club, my friend. I have the 6 player myself and have recorded a shit load of videos of mine. Not here to promote my channel, but as a reference and if you're curious...

Plus, I have 2 videos of the Street FIGHTER (1) Restore

Anyway, best of luck getting it fixed and yes, if you ever were to get a scan as
Vinsanity said, I would be willing to help cover some costs as I also need that artwork unless Biomech011 *cough* *cough* gets it done :p

Was doing some touch up on the filter board and screwed up the jamma edges connector. So I'm gonna replace it. I noticed it says atari games on it.

Alright repaired the filter board. But still no response from any of the controls. The control connectors are kinda busted. So maybe I not getting a ground.

Also this has some pretty bad cabinet swell.

Picked up a 6 button Street Fighter. That brings me to 4 StreetFighter pubs. 2 pneumatic and 2 6 buttons. The vinyl is peeling pretty bad on both sides. So I decided that I'm going to replace it. I found a roll of 4ft by 10yd matte black outdoor vinyl for $48 at a local shop.

Now you can have a SF 1 tournament.
