Street fighter 4 arcade bootleg?

they seem to have these for a bunch of different games. i was looking for a tetris: the grand master 3 board and stumbled upon these. looks like a computer in a box with a jamma adapter slapped on, which admittedly is all the taito type x is (well that's actually jvs).

haven't found any feedback on how well they work compared to the real thing, but if you want street fighter 4 i'd look into throwing an xbox in a cab. much cheaper, you'll be playing the most recent edition, and you can play other games.

nobody plays vanilla 4 anyway...they're another 3 iterations past it at this point.

I thought Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition was the other coin op version of SF IV. There is a third coin op version?

Even the first one is pretty expensive. I think I have only seen it for sale one time on Craigslist.

The board was cracked. Right now you can buy a multi board (PC running the true software) I think it is atomiswave hardware which was a PC. A wrapper was made to allow the Taito X2 roms to run on a standard PC. Pricing is around $500 for a prebuilt box to run X2 games from overseas.

Atomiswave was based on the dreamcast.

Anyway got any more information on the taito x2 cracks?

They're out there on the 'net. I snagged a torrent from Underground Gamer with all the X2 titles for a MAME setup I'm working on.

I saw similar setups for the last Mortal Kombat title. I think it was a super modified ps3 running the mk game in a big black metal boxes

I'm real curious about that 14-in-1 box linked earlier. I wonder if it runs on a regular cabinet with a low res screen
