Here we have A SF2 QUICKEN pcb. fighters speed starts out normally and after a 10 seconds or so pass by they begin to move around faster (TURBO SPEED) L fire ball is straight and slow, M fire ball moves up high and normal speed, H fireball moves down low and very fast. The timer speeds up faster as well. The pics of the word quicken flash all through out the demo mode.

Does anyone like this version and or know the value of them/going rate? I bought two of them broken and repaired them, both play 100%. one was just missing a cap..ha ha. Anyway, any advice would be helpful about these boots, if you go to my albums you can see additional detailed pics of the pcb.

The "Red Wave" edition modification was more common than this one. I THINK that I may have played this one back when Turbo: Hyperfighting was new. In fact, Capcom came out with the Hyperfighting version of "Champion Edition" specifically to combat these hacks with an "OFFICIAL" mod release...

I know the CE boots go anywhere from 50 to 90 depending on who's selling, last I'd seen the WW ones were going for about the same prices. Up to you as far as selling point depending on how long you feel like waiting for them to sell.

I sold my Quicken board for $75 plus shipping but it was an ORIGINAL CAPCOM with modified rom chips. Didn't even last one day on ebay. Had it sold in a matter of hours. Cool board but the only hacks I like are the Rainbow Editions where Guile can throw a gazillion sonic booms.

I love those third party hacks.. I bought a hacked version of Mortal Kombat called MK Turbo, and it's such a blast. The speed is now up to UMK3 level, and it feels like a whole new game, with new custom combos and juggles. Of course its highly unbalanced, but its just fun to play.

I wish there was more of them out there for fighting games.
