Just wanted to share the news-
Picked up a Stratovox upright this weekend. Cheap since it was non-working. $100 with a busted tube neck and missing backdoor.

Got the monitor swapped out with one from Bryan- It has a vertical collapse burn line, but that's better than what was in there. It's a shame that the original monitor had a busted neck- the screen was pretty clear.

I had the boards working after replacing a fuse and laying things out on the floor, but after I put it all back together, all I can get is a green screen with a bunch of small lines. I know that the power supply could stand some new fuse holders as a couple of the 'wings' are broken off. Three of the fuses in there aren't being held tightly.

I thought I'd be playing some Stratovox goodness last night, but missed it by that much..

I've been missing this game ever since I sold my last one a couple of years ago. Don't see much of this stuff in decent shape these days.

I just consulted the shelves in PackRat facility number 3 - that is, the small room accessible through the garage..

I've stockpiled three sets of Stratovox boards in there, so I'll probably be good :)
Also came across one piece of a Lunar Rescue, but it's a different layout entirely.

Funny how people acquire stuff they MAY have a need for in the future.
Just call me Randy Jr. ...
