It was still nice to see the environment again. Although the machines had LCDs, I thought they did a great job capturing the time, essence, and atmosphere of the arcade that we grew up in. It brought back many memories for me. I also digged the Z28. That wasn't accurate either. It has fenders from a 78-79 but the dash is a 80-81. That didn't ruin the nostalgia for me even though it wasn't 100% accurate. It brought back another flood of memories.
Any interest in Palace Arcade Tshirts??
still tweakin the design but just a quick rough idea
It has already been on the T-Shirt sites. It was on ShirtPunch last week

What i though was funny is at one point a saw him putting down the windows with the power window switch on the console then another time you look at the car and it had a crank handle for manual windows.
Also, is this game real?
In a midway cab, looks like a Galaga style. I tried googling Space Knife real quick but wasn't seeing the same artwork...
The artwork says "Quest for the Space Knife"
Just curious.

First off, I love the show - great series.
But since I see others commenting on stuff not being period correct or authentic....I'll go ahead and add my 2 pennies
The main character's bikes!
I would guess these were actually made somewhere after 2004 based on several points. Looking at the bikes in the picture below (mostly the 2 bikes on the left):
The integrated headset design on BMX bikes first came out in 2002-2003 (S&M I believe made first prototypes in 2003, only a couple other bike companies including my own did this in 2002/2003). MOST bike companies didn't start building this way until 2004 or later. The trained eye for BMX can also note the clamp-on stem, smaller gearing, Detangler tabs, and overall geometry is post-2000 era as well. They basically added some silly stuff like head lights, bells, older style grips, and a banana seat LOL
I was hoping to see some GT, Redline, Diamond Back, Torker, etc. Big zilch....
All of those years are before 1984 (when the show takes place) so it's still accurate.I also digged the Z28. That wasn't accurate either. It has fenders from a 78-79 but the dash is a 80-81.
