im looking at a strange science pin for sale.iv played this pin locally and enjoy it.
the pics the seller emailed look good,my only concern is its a 3-4 hour drive each way and when i asked if it is 100% working the seller said as far as he knows.any thoughts?

His answer is valid if he's selling this for someone else. If it's his, he should know damn full and well if that's working or not. I'd ask for clarity because quite honestly this is a red flag to me. "As far as I know" ..... give me a break.
 
that's what i am thinking as well. so far iv been communicating via email. I'm going to call him tonight.
 
It's a strange game (no pun intended xD). I think it is decent, but it really up to you on wether you think the price is right and if you think the game is good. I've driven 5 hours just to pick up a robotron, but that's just a game I really like. It's all in preference of the title... Oh, and price of course!
 
Check for broken ramps. This game is known for broken ramps. Every SS I have owned had broken ramps and broken plastics. Finding replacement ramps/plastics is hard for this game.
 
the pics the seller sent the pin looks good. no broken plastics or ramps. cab,playfield and glass look good. my only concern at this point is is the pin working?the price is good also $800
 
Also check that the left outlane kickback post (Power Saver) is present and not broken. Those posts are made of unobtainum as they haven't been reproduced.
