I have seven bootleg pacs that I've been getting in working order. They all function well with the namcopac roms (original puckman). The boards were made for using 12 2716's but I figured out that the row 6 rom set will work with 2532's (I can't get the row 5 roms to work with 2532's).
I have some strange issues with four of the boards while the other 3 boards work perfectly (albeit they have a long boot sequence before they get to P's, test, and grid but they function and appear perfect). The ghosts in the title screen don't disappear correctly when they are eaten, the maze color is filled instead of just outlined and its a strange babyblue (similar to the second maze of Ms Pac-man), the cherry is creamy red instead of vibrant red.
Both pcbs are running identical rom sets. The color proms at 4A and 7F are socketed and have been swapped and didn't change anything (I was thinking it would fix the cherry color).
Here is a 4 minute video going over both boards and the issues (highlighting of the issues is at 2:30 to 3:00). (Sorry for the sideways video, youtube doesn't let you rotate)

Has anyone seen anything like this and/or have any idea of what is causing it?
Thanks
