Is it a finished crawlspace (concrete walls & floor, solid) or is it Indiana Jones style?? If it's finished, you could pick up an old working dehumidifier (craigslist $20), program it keep humidity<60% and voila! A happy hoarder you will be

I would personally go the shed route.
