Stolen Centipede Game - Sacramento, CA.

So as a parent of children/young people from 4 to 21, one of which (18) is not welcome to live at home due to certain chemical addictions, I am curious on the circumstances of why she was kicked out.

When she came to our house bleeding with cuts and bruses, after an arument with her dad and refused to go home, she was considered kicked out.

I had told her if this were my father he would be dead to me.

We have not had any issues with her when she was here, so I have no idea WTF happens there.... She had the same rules I have for all of my children.

Hope everything works out for you guys. Sounds bad.
Good luck on the whole deal.

Hey,

That sucks to hear. If you don't manage to get the Centipede machine back, and someone on this site is selling one and is near you. I'll give you $25 towards it. Hopefully if others offer something like this we can get her a game back without it costing anything to you.

If its her game, why not just get some friends together and go pick it up? WTF is he going to do about it? Write up a Bill of Sale to the girl in case he calls the cops and you need to show proof of ownership.

I'm a bit late in posting this, as it happened Monday.

I want to let you all know a fellow KLOVer heped me not only buy back the game, but also haggled them down in price ($200) and picked it up for us.

I also want to thank two others local that offered to help out. I will let them make the choice if they want to go public.

The game is back (and it still works).

Thanks for everything guys!

Did it get bought from the father who was selling the stolen property?

Yes,

Court for custody of my step daugter is on June 1st. He failed miserably in mediation. The mediator is going to recommend random drug testing, and only 1 weekend a month visitation. He will also have to take parenting classes, and anger managment classes. At least this is what is being recommended to the judge.

It must have been, because it's already gone. I'm assuming it was a cheap Centipede, but just HOW cheap? ;)

$150. Looked really nice. He said it was in his house for 20 years. Worked and the screen looked good too. Lasted longer than I thought it would. The ad was up for quite a while anyway.
