Still have your first game?

I purchased my first exactly 1 year ago.

Started with this:

Then I bought this to resto and put it into:

And this is what it looks like now:

Less than a year later I have had 5 games in all but trimmed that to 4 as of now.

Will not be selling my first under any circumstances I can forsee, as for the others they are fair game :)

My first game was a Super Sprint given to me roughly two years ago. I still have it and have no plans on selling it :).

Star Wars - And believe me, with that damn vector monitor I've considered unloading it more than a few times when it was on the fritz.....

LOL! Didn't I try to buy it off of you a few times? While vectors are a pain I think its worth it. However one is enough for me as i've put out the idea of owning a Tempest.

Yep, still own my Mat Mania. It's in a Stern cab, I bought it in Sept. of '05. Then I got another game, and another, and another...

Still have mine bought a Ms Pac and Super Pac together. Had no idea what those two would multiply to a basement full. I wouldn't sell the Ms Pac but I can see moving the super pac out.

I still have everything from my first one I got but it is just in parts atm for anything I needed for my other machines. Just because it was a neogeo 1 slot in a data east cabinet that looks like crap. I do have a dedicated 4 slot neogeo that was my second arcade owned that I will never let go of.

My very first game was a Donkey Kong Jr. I still have the boardset, but the rest is gone. I had the marquee for a while, but gave that to another collector to complete their game. I miss that game (I have it in my DDK DK mini, but miss the whole game).

Hmmm... out of my first three games, I only still have one (Mario Bros.).

Pac Man - bought around 2000, unrestored cabinet, original t-molding, and I still haven't gotten around to replacing it, tho I bought a roll -

Technically, no, I guess.
Basically, way back when (circa 1999 or so), I wanted a 1943 (one of my holy grails). I used to work at a Namco arcade in Florida, and one of the employees we had ended up with a 1943. The story was it was on the side of the road, then it went to him being a town away, and finding it one the side of the road, then it was he bought it at a yard sale, then he had found it at a rummage sale with his g/f....yeah, basically he stole it. Anyways, I *REALLY* wanted that cab, so he offered to do a deal with me. He wanted a Double Dragon II, so he said if I could come up with the game, he'd trade me.
So, a good friend of mine went to a Super Auction, managed to pick up a DDII in a converted Jungle King for $60, drove it to his house, off-loaded it, picked up the 1943, and brought that to me. So, I still do have the first cab I ever laid hands on, but I technically don't have the first cab I ever bought, even though I never saw it. Unfortunately, since the first cab, I've added on about 35 more....it never ends. Eventually, they will all work, too!

My first game

My first game was an Atari Pool Shark that I converted into a black and white Rally-X. This was in college around 1982. We played it endlessly. I gave it to my room mate.
I still have a minty Battle Zone I bought in 1983. Still love to play it.

I remember playing a Atari Pool Shark once in a eatery once long time ago. It was a pretty cool game along with a cool cab/sideart. Been looking for one one and off for years to no avail. Only thing I was able to find is a control panel. Must be pretty rare.....or a victim of the conversion gods:eek:

Yup,
My first game was a Firepower pinball.. typical noob, paid too much for it. bought it in 2000... it will never leave :)
cheers

I still have my first game which was a Space Duel. I found KLOV when the 6100 went out. I love the game so much, I picked up a second one to put at work. :)

Thanks kLOV!
