Still doing custom cabs in Japan...

I have a dedicated pcb in stock. It's cool because it uses pressure switches, so there are actually hoses going to the pcb itself.
 
I had the pleasure of playing that back in the day. As you can imagine it was diffcult. Street Fighter 1 doesn't have very forgiving special move code, and adding those buttons it is even harder.

Still it was awesome to play.

Yeah My local Major magic's had that cab back in the day as well. It was hard with those pads.
 
Those cabinets are actually kind of cool converted to the six button layout. I've read somewhere that was a legit option Capcom put into later runs, and not just ops drilling the machines up, since encouraging people to bash buttons as hard as possible lead to breakage. Not sure how much of that is truth.

The game and the controls was a good concept on paper, but in execution the thing stunk. Thank fuck this idea didn't kill the sequel.
