Hey everyone,
We are going to announce this tomorrow morning officially, but i thought i should let all the KLOV friends know right now!

Basically, I am going to be putting my personal collection of arcade games into my record store that will available free to all paying logan hardware customers. I am going to put out 35 or so of my collection and cycle some in and out as I can. I will know the full list closer to the date and will re-post. We are doing this as part of the re-opening of the store with our expanded selection of LPs, and Steve Weibe is going to help us celebrate!

Steve is going to come in and play live, and on top of that he is going to do a VERY basic "class" called DK101... to help the novice understand the game better. There will also be a q&a with steve and more personal time then with the performances so if you are interested read the info below and sign up!

DK101 is $12, and only for 1hr, but Steve will be there all day after that trying to break his record.

Here is the press release our guys put together:

Way cool, being a huge DK fan I'd love to ask a few questions and see him play in person.. No way I'm gonna visit Chicago in January though ;)

If you could ask him, or post what he says, the Cement Factory Level seems to have the least strategy out there on. It's usually the level that takes 3 of my 4 lives while playing. I'd love to hear his tips on that level.

Steve still married? Seemed like in the movie his wife was at her "limit" at times!!! LOL!

"You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it, I thank you all!"

I think she's probably over it...

They have the life rights to make a holywood version... ugh... What would that be like? talked about nathan fillion as steve wiebe, that would make sense.

I really enjoyed the Chasing Ghosts movie too.

The HOLLYWOOD version!?!?!? LOL! WTF?!? Yeah, not too sure what to think about that. Hollywood really is bankrupt for good ideas, and one could never WRITE a plot like that...but the thing that made King of Kong SOOO great, is the fact is was real.... unbelievable.....but REAL! Not sure how that would translate into a Hollywood movie!?!
But seriously, after such a great original movie, there needs to be some kind of followup to all the drama in King of Kong.......
