Did not see any posts on this yet so thought I would -

Stern announced and has posted some images of the Upcoming Tron Legacy Pinball Machine.

For those that have FaceBook you can see the cabinet on one of their pictures there in the background.

Additionally some Google Searches will show up some images of the Cabinet and Playfield.

Has a 3 bank target that drops (IE Attack from Mars, Spiderman and Avatar) to unveil a light disc mech that flings the ball randomly around the playfield. Appears to be like 3 ramps with light cycles on them and an Old Tron Arcade machine that you hit to start modes I believe. Light Cycle Multiball is one mode.

More info on the Limited Edition is supposed to come out this week. I hope for a Blue DMD for it instead of the red version.

Anyways thought some of you Arcade guys would be interested.

Been waiting for these pics...

The little toys and Tron arcade game are neat little additions. However, I'm hoping the gameplay is a bit more wow factor than the stylization of this artwork. I was really hoping for some of the same flashiness and uniqueness which played a part of the original Tron to be incorporated in here. Maybe blacklight effects? More holographic effects in the playfield? I dunno. I'm not really sure what it needs, but it just seems "typcial" to me and kind of cookie-cutter.

"There's a pinball forum here too? How many forums we got on this site anyway?"

(all the forums stand up) "YO!"

"Great, I knew it! I'm surrounded by forums."

"The radar has been jammed sir."
"Jammed?"
"Yes sir, raseberry."
"r-a-s-e-b-e-r-r-y....that could only mean Lonestar!"

I love that movie, rumor had it that a part 2 was suppose to come out.

Back on topic, I don't think that pin looks bad, but I agree with gozer, something's missing that doesn't really set it apart like a lot of people would hope. In any case, I'm hoping it's at least better than the movie.
