just pick this up for my collection.its a sweet machine.game keeps reseting and the banking light keeps going on and off before playing machine.some times you may get to play a game or half of one.anyone else had this problem.i ordered a manual to get voltages so i can see if there in order .being when this happen in my high speed it was the power supply.thanks

Sounds like a bad bridge/ cap scenario. I would reseat all your connections for what its worth. Also, is the Harley Davidson the Bally or Sega version. If Sega, you can try the sol/driv brd in it and see if this resets.
Hope this helps.

Went through that on a Lethal Weapon. It was a board level issue. I worked and worked and worked on it...then traded it in for a fully working board. If you decide you want to just send it off, I send all my stuff to Chance Tess. He does kick-ass affordable work on Stern/Data East stuff.

I can give you his contact info if needed.

Bump for a good guy ;P

sounds like classic cold solder joint(s) somewhere
id take the board(s) out and start looking for them and reflow any that look cold
eye the bridge rectifiers and header pins
id test the electrolytic capacitors with an ESR meter and replace if any test bad

then check connectors for weak pins inside
clean/sand grounds where you can

thats what id do first before sending board(s) anyplace

thanks for every one's posts.this what i did and seens to working. i turned the pod next to the +5 led up as far as it would go. i now have 4.99 volts.where before i had like 4.80 volts it should be +5 so i guess the power supply is going to need to be rebuilt soon.
