HI i have what i thiought at the time i bought it was a project galaga. Ive learned that it was originally a stern scramble. i cant decide on if i want to turn it back into a scramble or leave it as galaga and just make it look new again. My big question is this....the underlay and CPOs do they make them or does anyone have the files? im not even sure what the underlay or CPOs look like to be honest. The overall condition (except for the horrible lock bar) is really nice so to put it back to original wouldnt be hard....what do you guys think i should do?

Restore it, great game. I think I have a Scamble Cocktail glass in storage if someone wants to scan it and make an overlay.

If you are interested I should have most of the parts for a stern scramble cocktail. The control panels with original screened art are in pretty good condition but are missing joy sticks. I think I have a board that is working minus sound and should have the wiring and possibly power supply as well. I'm certainly willing to price this fairly if you are willing to convert that machine back to it's original form. Otherwise the parts I don't need will continue to collect dust tucked away in storage.

wikedauto2010, I have been looking for a Scramble cocktail for quite some time, so I sure wish you were closer. With the parts from p1899m I could surely turn it back. Heck, I would even trade a complete, working Ms. Pac-Man cocktail for it. :)

As it is, I do hope the Scramble cocktail gets restored since there don't seem to be too many of these left. :(

Ive already PMed p1899m about his parts. i found a few images online and think it looks cool. i even youtubed the game play and think id enjoy having it. I dont have much $$ in it at all and when i pluged it in i get neck glow at least so i could sell off the galaga board and parts to basically pay to convert it back. Why are the stern cocktail tables so hard to find? and i would in a heart beat trade you for a ms pacman coctail to go with my pacman coctail table :)

Good luck on the de conversion. I love bringing games back to their original form when it makes sense. I have a full harness and PS if you end up needing either.
