I just acquired a Stern Mazer Blazer and was wondering how fun is this game from some collectors out here? How rare is it? I'm going to be snagging it up this afternoon, pics to follow....

Russ,
I'll let you know as soon as I get it home, I left you a voicemail earlier too. The person I spoke with said she hears the game play but no picture. I figured this is an obscure beast. Very, very nice condition too. They're moving and were selling it, I bet it's been in their house for a while. I need to go snag this before the rain begins this afternoon. OBTW, Spider-Man rocks. I remember the Lizard man episode as well as Mysterio too, have most of those old comics as well-- good times!

Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies
Look Out!
Here comes the Spiderman.

Is he strong?
Listen bud,
He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread
Take a look overhead
Hey, there
There goes the Spiderman.

In the chill of night
At the scene of a crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time.

Spiderman, Spiderman
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman
Wealth and fame
He's ingnored
Action is his reward.

To him, life is a great big bang up
Whenever there's a hang up
You'll find the Spider man.

I had 2 of them many years ago. crushed one (falling apart) and the other I sold to a guy in pacifica. Iteresting game.

I think it has an oddball monitor in it. All I know is that the monitor died in it and it melted the focus wire..

Def rare. I`ve only seen 6 of them ever & 4 were brand new at the aoe show in 83`. One was in a warehouse falling apart & the 6th one was on location a few years back on the wildwood NJ boardwalk with an out-of-order sign on it all summer...

Mx send me the link to that. Without further anticipation, here are some pic. Sorry for the resolution, taken on a 5 MP Motorola Zine cell phone:

These were taken in the late afternoon on the trailer....

In the garage tonight:
Very cool artwork on this cab. Cabinet is in fantastic condition minus a little splintering from having no leg levelers on the thing for 20+ years. The splintering is on the Right side at the bottom, see in the first set of pictures. I noticed that there's some flaking on the marquee/monitor bezel. I think triple thick would be the solution on that. Artwork is really something neat too.Gun came off and is in need of some repair along the base. All the keys/documentation is here too. I'll get some better pictures over this busy weekend of mine. Coin door inserts are neat with the Stern logo/25 cent design.

I played the hell out of that game back in college.(Around 1985).

After missing one on eBay, I never could find one to add to my collection.

Nice grab Jim, hell you may want to hang on to this one for a while. Get it going, see how you like it. We all know its rare, so maybe there will be a lot more interest in this thing once its working correctly.

Okay since nobody want this thing, I may be parting it out. Who wants what? J/K. I'll get some better picture tomorrow and take a look at it. More on what to do with it at a later time...

This is one of those funky titles on my want list :) That and Marvin's Maze.
