Hey guys, just shopped out a stern harley 3rd edition. I replaced a solenoid that had 0 ohms accross it and was blowing the fuse. Shopped it out and now got it all back together. If I turn the game on with the door open all the GI is on, then if I close the interlock switch the GI immediatly turnes off. If I press start it goes black for a few seconds, then acts like the game has started but no switches work and the only solenoid that works is the one that raises the post in between the flippers. It is kinda acting funny. I took a crappy video that I hope you will look at for me.
When I go into the solenoid test screen i am closing the interlock switch.

I really need your help on this one! Thanks guys.

did you check and replace the transistor that drives the coil you replaced ?

a burnt coil happens because of a bad transistor, if you only replaced the coil it will probably just burn again..

I'll check it, how can I tell which transistor drives which coil? Would a burned transistor cause all my other wackyness? Will the coil burn again instantly? (Should I be ordering a new coil) had it on for maybe 5 minutes last night trying to figure this out.

check the manual.. that should say what transistor it is (manual can be downloaded at stern probably if you don't have it) (possibly you can get it out of the selftests too but I'm not sure, don't have much experience with stern games)

if you switch the game on and the coil activates immedaitely then it'll burn

maybe try emailing stern support and see what they tell you ?
