Bought a non-working Berzerk and starting to try to get it running. The cabinet is in very nice shape. The insides were clean except for a little acid damage.

Bought a ZZPU and a few other boards that are prone to acid damage. They are all very clean with no signs of issues.

Before trying the new boards checked the power supply board, the PS-1000. All test points show good. Virtually identical to what is shown on the board. 5 volts, 12 volts, 15 volts.

There are several stickers in the cabinet that say to adjust something on the PS-1000 until a test point on another board measures 5 volts. This test point measured 4.35 volts. I turned the adjustment on the PS-1000 to the max and get 4.85 volts. Stickers say should be 5 to 5.25.

First question is could this simply be due to dirty connectors, indicate a bad adjustment pot, or could there still be issues elsewhere on the PS-1000 even though the test points showed OK?

Bob Roberts doesn't sell a rebuild kit for the PS-1000. I'm kinda new at this stuff. Anyone have links to information on rebuilding one and sourcing parts? I did some looking but have not found much yet.

Since there was some battery corrosion on your original boards, it's nearly guaranteed that this affected the connectors nearby. You're going to need to repin/replace at least some of the connectors. I would replace any that contact the ZZPU in addition to any power or ground related connectors. Great Plains Electronics or Bob Roberts sells the molex connector housings and crimp pins. Either will sell you the crimp tool if you don't have one.
