Here are the first 2 Robotrons that were made by DPTwiz and myself. Picked up today and on their way home to Wisconsin with the rest of the cabinets we did for this order. They turned out pretty nice I think.

Very nice...looks like you nailed down that silver color..I will need to put in an order for some cabs in very near future..but right now I have to much other stuff going on...good work.

Thanks a bunch. The silver is not like the original. I went with a light metal flake to it, but I think the net effect is just better. :)

PM me a list of the cabs you repro at this time and which ones you are painting..and or stenciling..I will be putting in an order..I have a lot of local folks bugging me for certain games and I have the parts but no cabs..
I'm not far either so a pickup and roadtrip would be fun...

How much work is it to stencil a Robotron cab? I've got one that was converted/gutted I got at an auction that I put MAME in. They had painted it aqua, then black sometime over the years. I tried to remove the paint to reveal the Robotron artwork, but it's pretty much impossible to not damage the original paint.

i can partialy answer the question since i talked to them about this b4.
ill just say its easier to do an a+ paint job on the new cab then it is on an old cab.
if ur close enuff to pick up, it will be so close in price u probably will prefer new cab with new paint.

How about a Zoo Keeper cab? Your work looks great, but unforunately I don't need any of the cabs your making. I would love to stop by and pick up a new ZK cab from you guys.

that can be arranged, give me a little time to make it happen. Would you want it stenciled and painted?
