What to do, what to do? The side art on my Pac cab was spray painted black, then covered with black vinyl. The art underneath was not salvageable.

After stripping the cab and re-painting the yellow, (first coat only) it is almost too pretty to not Stencil. The dilemma is that I have a line on a Pac cab with pretty decent side art for a pretty fair price. ($250)

I just can't decide which way to go.

IMO, spend a portion of that 250.00 on stencils and pocket the difference. Then make this cab minty.

Oh yeah, that is the Wife actually painting on the cab. I must have been really good to today, to get some much needed help.

Come on Dave, you know you want to.
I'm going to be ordering a set in the next week or two.
Mine was painted light blue and stinks like mildew but, she's getting the full treatment.
Nothing says "Classic arcade era" like a cherried out original Pac cab.
I vote you stencil it.

I'm just getting ready to dive into the same project myself. I struggled a bit deciding if I was going to try stencils or not, but figure what the heck, might as well go for it. I'll definitely keep an eye out for progress on yours. Good luck.

Well, the wife had no interest in this cab until I started sanding it down. After helping me prime and paint it, she is all for stenciling it now.

I have been working around this poor cab for 3 or 4 years now. Buying a piece of art for it here and there kind of like a forever project.

You have the hard part done, The other cab might still be worth picking up, but you might as well finish that one!!

cab looks good painted just finish it off with the stencils and have a minty pac cab

As others said, you have most of the work already done, so I would continue and stencil it. The cab looks to be in very good shape - that's going to be a really nice looking machine when you're done.

Now that the weather here is finally getting warmer, I can actually start working on my Pac project in the garage. But I have some bondo sessions ahead before I need to decide whether to stencil or just touch up the side art. And I could only dream of my wife helping me paint!

Stencil Pac on one side and Ms.Pac on the other side then install the multi kit:D

I don't think so I do not like multi games. I have one in the house only do to I did not know what they were back then. Now I know better.

We are going to pick up the other cab then we will make it a jr pac. Then we will have the pac family. Once I find Ms. Pac. If dave doesn't like it then he can go to the garage. I have spoken.

In the house now is Baby pac (little bastard will NEVER leave me) Super pac After Pac is done he will have a spot in the game room.

IMO once the project is complete and the game is back together I think you'll be happier with a stenciled cab.

Btw, I have a silkscreened cpo you can have for free if you cover shipping :).
