Steeplechase, Canyon Bomber, Badlands photos HELP needed for book

I'm writing a book provisionally entitled "One switch One Hundred", detailing some key games that can be played with a single button alone.

Some of the earliest one-button playable arcade games include:

Atari Steeplechase (1975), Atari Canyon Bomber (1977) and Konami Badlands (1984).

I'm really struggling to get any decent high(ish)-res photos of those games suitable for my book that aren't from an emulator or flyer. Could anyone help me, please? I'll be happy to give full credit. Really keen to get control panel and monitor shots. Anything artistic would be brilliant too.

I'd also love to see a video with sound of Steeplechase in action, as I've never seen it for a companion web-site. Does such a thing exist?

The book and site will be made freely available, but will encourage people to donate to the gaming charity www.specialeffect.org.uk if people so wish. Obviously, a large proportion of people most interested in one-switch / one-button games are disabled people, so it seems like a good fit.

Finally, if anyone knows of any other one-switch games from the arcade (I know of Star Trigon, Uo Poko and Mushime-tama), that would be much appreciated too.

Many thanks for reading this far.

Damn... I was going to purchase a Canyon Bomber this past summer. I had obtained numerous photos of it my external. Deal fell through - must have erased them.:(

I had the pleasure of playing a Steeplechase waaaaaaay back when! Fun multiplayer, lame by yourself. I'll never forget those buttons to jump! Can't recall what the audio was like....

Thanks so far for the thoughts. I'm planning to finish the book in June 2013, so there's a bit of time for this. Would love to go to FunSpot one day.

@Mylstar - would be extremely cool, and be a boost to the historical preservation of these machines if you could post a video to YouTube if you ever get time. And I'd love a few photos if you get time. Are you lucky enough to have all the original push-buttons on your machine?

Cheers all,

Barrie

Uo Poko can be played with one switch, but it really needs a joystick, because if you go too far you can roll the stick back around to the top and move it the other way without releasing.

You have Drop Zone 4 and Bombs Away on your list right? Both predated Canyon Bomber. I used to have a Drop Zone 4, but I am unsure if I have any decent pictures of it.

There are hundreds of single button ticket redemption games although most are not video titles.

@Kalan714 - Many thanks. I'll follow those leads. Appreciated.

@tbbk - Uo Poko plays brilliantly with one-button (i.e. down), although take your point that it's easier with the joystick. Great info on the Meadows games. They'd slipped past my radar. Really appreciated. Found a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnJU_lVNSfw

Like the peace-bomb-run in Bombs Away - where if you miss everything, you'll be rewarded with extra time.

If anyone has any photos of either, that would be great too to add to the wish list. Knew it was a smart move to post on this excellent list. Thanks all for the help so far.
