I am looking for some of that steel braiding that is used in some cabs ,which I assume is for grounding? Where can you buy this stuff from?

It also looks like the thinnest stuff they have is 1/2". I don't think the stuff that Williams used was that wide.

Check some pinball places out, they used some of it on nearly every pin, to either ground the backbox or to ground bulbs and things under the playfield.

well it figures I can't just go to the store and buy it as usual. I don't get why everything I ever need for cabs has to be ordered.

I found it locally at Grainger but its 25ft for $80. i don't need that much. Is there something equivelant to this I can use, like plain wire? lol

As long as you use heavy gauge stranded wire, it's fine. The advantage to the braid is that it flexes far better than any wire can do, so when it gets moved over and over, it doesn't break.
