After I made a custom Nintendo Cabinet, I thought of doing something similiar with my old Sega Genesis. Its a whole hodgepodge of parts I welded, bolted, screwed all together. Kinda wierd, but it gets more attention then any of my other games.

I dont think there are too many rules on Steampunk anyway!!

video in next post explains better

Interesting. What size monitor, or TV, did you use? Does it have stereo sound? I see only one speaker.

It was a little old 13 incher. I just took the one mono speaker out of it and mounted it, its plenty loud enough.

I used an old arcade button, and soldered it to the monitor chassis, to turn the tv on, after the whole contraption is turned on via the switch at the bottom on the power box.

The little fan actually is wired to work, and is nice when you are standing there playing. I used LED bulbs in the middle box, and in the bottom power box. some of the things I bolts on as embelishments:

motion detector
heat sinks
transformer
golf cart cables
fan
HID ballast
ceiling fan parts
police siren
old coleman lantern parts
shark jaws
nintendo 72 pin connector
bunch of wires
dryer vent
other junk
