Picked up today's Indie pack, but haven't played it yet. Puzzle Dimension was totally worth the price of yesterday's pack, though.

Chime is on sale today for $1.25 - great deal.
Also, Poker Night at the Inventory is on sale for $2.99 - even if you suck at Texas Hold 'Em like me, it's worth it for the commentary. If nothing else, you get TF2 items from playing, which is important to SOME PEOPLE
Lastly, be sure to check out the Steam Treasure Hunt going on right now. Do certain things in certain games and win shit. Too bad I'm not buying RUSE just for this

I can't buy a friend "gift certificates" on Steam can I? Only full games? I got a buddy I need to get a Christmas present for and he is a Steam Junkie. Easy gift, one would think, except I don't know what game to get him. But it doesn't look like I can buy him credit, only a specific title. Is that right?

Unfortunately not. Does your friend have a wishlist setup? If so, check that and maybe there's a game on there close to what you were going to spend on them.
The closest thing to a steam gift card is a prepaid Visa or Mastercard - just write "FOR STEAM USE ONLY" on it, haha

Same here. I'm hoping I can get the second, but I won't get many of today's goals. I've got the group one, of course, and I'm going to try for the Droplitz one, but I simply have no plans of getting the other games

I'm straight idlin' again, I got ~15 items from 24 hours of idling (I was out of town, so I left it running). Was able to craft the Horseless Headless Horseman's Axe tonight

lol, no, but that's not a bad idea! Send me some games! Only two more for me to be entered in the grand prize drawing or whatever. I never got that LFD2 achievement on steam, so I need to do that tonight.
I've sent plenty of gifts to family and friends, so I had that one already. Already had the L4D2 one too, so I'm up to seven so far. I still need to win Sascha in Poker Night for the eighth, but I suspect that I can get to 15 before the end without too much trouble.

I have my doubts about getting the Poker Night one since I SUCK AT IT. Other than that, though, I have all the indie game stuff that's come up.I got the Poker Night one last night. It's not so much how good you are (you can set the difficulty to easy in the options), but just keep restarting until the Heavy puts up his gun instead of the cash. Once again, sales updated. Beat Hazard is highly recommended. Think Geometry Wars with your own music and with a higher risk of seizures (for those who are unsure, this equals "totally awesome"). Anyway, it's only $2.50, so come on. Just Cause 2 is only $7.50. I haven't decided yet myself, but I might go ahead and get it.
I'm glad one of the objectives is for BH. I can totally hit that one, I'll bet. I've been looking for a reason to pick that back up for a bit. I'm not sure what that first was previously. I assume you had to watch a trailer or something...probably download one. Anyway, looks like everyone should get it now, regardless.
