It's been called to my attention that I shouldn't of put this New Nintendo T-molding reproduction thread in the restoration section. So, I decided to start a new thread here to make sure that everyone knows what is going on.

Original thread here.

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=124077

Basically we are about ready to start taking pre-orders later this week. Cost is most likely going to be between $35.00 and $37.50 shipped as long as pricing doesn't change from the manufacture based on the material change.

Details as of now are...

1) Flex PVC Material
2) Exact Shape to the original
3) White
4) Satin finish (not semi-gloss because they cannot do semi-gloss in flexible PVC)

This will go into production 1-2 weeks after I start taking pre-orders.

Working on setting up paypal button on my site by tomorrow for pre-orders so stay tuned. I'll need to manually configure shipping for more than one machines worth so give me a time to figure out how the "buy it now" button works. I'll setup pricing for up to 5 machines worth. If you need more than that you'll need to contact me.

Man I get sick of the "wrong forum" nazis. I have never cared, and never will, and it has always fallen to bored forum members and mods to point out something so pointless. I mean really. It's t-molding. We're not discussing hydraulics in a buick lesabre here.

On a different note, it is super cool that you're doing this! Thanks for putting the work in. More new stuff means the hobby keeps going.

Can you explain a bit about pre-orders. They WILL be filled no matter what cause you are going to proceed with ordering the molding OR will you be waiting for so many pre-orders BEFORE you even order the molding?

Since the answer will dictate how long someone's money is tied up, how is that going to work?

Thanks brother.

We will be taking pre-orders for 7-14 days (will push for one week) and then moving forward. If interest isn't there after 7-14 days then will promptly refund everyone's $$$$. The manufacture said "2-3 weeks" after they get payment from me for tooling. They will be sending me 20 feet of sample material before producing so we will loose a few days based on that.

So yes, we are moving forward. I'd say if I get your $$$$ on the 7th day you're looking about about 4-6 weeks before you see product in your hand assuming there is no hiccups with the material we choose.

For the record it wasn't a "wrong forum" nazi. I pointed out in the other thread that he should post in General simply because this project needs greater exposure, not because he broke a "post in the correct forum" rule. Just didn't want anyone to miss out on this great endeavor!

Audiomidiman, will you ship to Europe. Maybe I can find some other Nintendo owners interested here and you can combine shipping....

We will make it happen... Probably just have you initially pay for the T-molding and we'll figure out the shipping when it arrives. Yes, if you can find several people interested over there that would be great.

Have you put a link to this thread, from the old thread, that's where the numbers are? :)

Exactly... I'm glad I saw this new thread. I'm in for one game. (My precious DK) :D

Can anyone confirm how much is needed for a Mario Bros WB? My guess is its the same or just a little more than a "regular" nintendo cabinet.
