I picked up a Starwars this weekend. The guy said it wasn't but all the parts monitor boards etc... were all there. I opened up the game at the guys house and everything was there all right but didn't plug it in. I get it home and the game came on! LOL Just one problem, no sound! Is this common with Starwars games? I did a search but nothing came up. Any tips would be great, thx.

Did you try (obvious question here) the volume pot inside the cab behind the coin door?

Check the interconnect board that ties the 3 boards together. My sound board popped out of the socket in the interconnect board, plugged it back in and I had sound again. Maybe it will be an easy fix like that.

That did it, thanks for the tip. I took out the boards and the sound board wasn't plugged in, doh!

Thanks again,

Braido...

Ha! Glad it was an easy fix. Funny thing is, I've never even played my Star Wars machine yet. I haven't had time to work on it, but I did test it to see if it played blind, and the first problem I ran into was the same problem you were describing.
