I'm having a think about this, he did have it up for $750 BIN before but no takers .
Now it's up again for $999.

I'm thinking of calling him and offering $750 again if it dosn't sell this time.

So the cost would be $750 +$400 freight + about $2000 ? in parts (going by what i've read in other threads here ) total about $3200....and a heap of work .

For that kind of money I wouldn't but these aren't all that hard to come by here in the US. I'd say in AU if these are hard to come by beggars can't be choosers. You'll play hell trying to locate a 25" and most likely will have to settle for a 19" K6100. Again I don't know your market - are these parts readily available in your area? Believe it or not anytime I sell vecotr parts on eBay I specifically state no International shipping and I still get people from the UK and AU email asking if I'll ship it to them.

Deadly...no, parts are not readily available here. Apart from the monitor and boards, are there any other parts that are hard to come by in the States for this thing ?

Am i about right, cost wise with the $2000 worth of parts ?

Yeah...i dont blame anyone for not wanting to ship fragile items OS ....it would be a hit and miss affair.

The good news is - you have joined a site where there's 1000's of people just like you and will be more than willing to help.

Price wise - this is not the holy bible of parts pricing but a rough est..
$250 boardset
$275 monitor (19")
$60 wiring harness
$20 ARII board
$30 Power supply
$260 Flight yoke

Now add shipping onto all of that
Hope it gives you some idea. BTW the prices listed are US not AU
