Is there a key difference or 2 in the harnesses? I thought I'd ask before spending a lot of time comparing the diagrams.

I have one that is one or the other, but not sure which. I don't want to misrepresent it in selling it. Thanks in advance, just thought someone might know of the top of their head.

If it was an early Stargate it will have a 12 pin connector on the power connector. Later Stargates will have a 15 pin connector. Robotrons always have a 15 pin connector.

Stargates also have a 4 pin power connector going to the ROM card. Robotrons have a 6 pin power connector going to the ROM card.

Thanks a bunch! That will definitely help me....

The control panel connector for a stargate will have a male 12 pin Molex and the connector for Robotron will be a 15 pin female.

The widget connectors are also wired totally different.

They are NOT interchangeable.

Thanks Dave. I was going from memory. I didn't look up the actual control panel connectors. I'm pretty sure the wiring colors for the control panels are completely different as well, but I was just too lazy to bother looking them up. :D
