My sound board is bad.
I have another sound board and the game works great.

When I put in the suspect sound board,
(if I remember right)
TP1 is like 2volts
TP2 is13 volts
TP3 is gnd
TP4 is 1 volts

Bridge recitfier off fuse is pulled and tested good.
by the way, the rom is bad.

I tried the suspect rom in the working board and the sound did not work, so something blew out the rom in the non working board.

I also changed the 5 volt regulator.

What is causing the voltage to be wrong.
Thanks,
David

There is a shorted compoent of some kind on the board that will pull the voltage down like that. This is usually caused by a cap. tantilums usually short out. It could also be an electrolytic cap. You can usually find the short by de soldering one side of the filter caps untill you find the bad guy. Sometimes the audio amp will do this also.

hope this helps you....
