I'm not sure if ghosting is the right term but during action the images leave a blur/streak/tracer behind them. I will try and get a video of it in a bit. It's like when you wave a sparkler through your feild of vision and you see its path momentarily. Anyone ever have this issue? Got a cap kit on the way but hoping it might be an even simpler fix. Maybe a grounding issue?

if your doing a cap kit on it i would always recommend flyback replace. have you measured your B+? have you checked that your drives and bias aren't up to high? if all that checks out okay my next guess is the flyback/ground issue. pictures or video would be great to help so we aren't guessing and see the problem ourselves.

The gains are up pretty high, not sure about b+ i had to buy a new meter this afternoon and will measure this evening. Will get a vid up soon too

start with a cap kit, flyback and a good re-flow.

then re-adjust EVERYTHING and see how it looks.

you can use my video to help you.
start at the 18:00 mark.

if you hit a brick wall, and need it looked at, your welcome to send it in.

Peace

It's kinda cool untill about wave 4, then you can't see a damn thing haha.

Imo do what buffet said and then just readjust and your problem will be solved. I think your brightness is too high but i'd be better safe than sorry with a g07 they're like time bombs. Btw I have my centipede set with the brightness too high so it ghosts a little but it looks really cool.

let me know if you need any parts i have them all in stock.

So I put a cap kit in, did a good reflow of all the pins and tried a million different setting combinations and still have the same issue. The monitor is actually a wg k4900 I was mistaken in my initial post. The picture is beautiful aside from the blur/ghosting. I guess the next step would be to reflow the pins on the game board? There is some very mild corrosion on the pins that go from the game board to the monitor. The blue convergence also seems to be ever so slightly off but that doesn't seem like it would be the cause. I also read somewhere that the ribbon cables can cause some issues.
