Who fixes Star Wars PCBs?
I have 2 boards for my SW upright - a regular old Star Wars board and a Star Wars board that's been converted to Empire Strikes Back. A few nights ago my SW board's video flaked out on me. It passes all the tests in self-test and looks fine in self test and plays fine, but certain game elements like the high score table stay on the screen during different attract modes (and during the game) and I can "hear" and see what seems to be the 6100 being told to draw the screen at about half the speed. It's very "flickery" if that's a word.
My ESB board plays perfectly and looks great, and the 6100 has been running wonderfully on a full cap/repair/bullet-proof kit from Bob along with a LV2000 for quite a while.
I cleaned up the edge connector and shoved all the socketed chips down again, no change.
Who can go through my SW board and fix what's wrong, and maybe clean up sockets, chips and edge connectors while they're at it?
Happy to pay for the service.
