Looking for input on this listing.

I'm a fan of this machine, it's not my favorite, but it's solid. I also think I could maybe make some money off of it, if I could land it for the right price. How would you guys approach this purchase?

I'd keep it for a bit, but I wouldn't see it as a permanent fixture. Is that a mistake? Would it be hard to move?

What should I offer?

What could the issue be with the monitor?

Cost of fixing?

What could I sell it for in working order?

Thanks!

A recent auction I went to had a cockpit and and upright, both worked although the screen on the cockpit was looking worn out. The cockpit sold for $50 and the upright sold for about $200.

In flawless condition, it could sell for $750. Monitor out? That's the worst case scenario for EVERY game. With it out, you can not verify if joysticks work, buttons, gameplay settings, graphical garbage, etc.

I wouldnt pay more than $200 for it. In my mind, I could justify the money if the joystick was in great shape.

Right, I took a blind playing game with the monitor out as trade for some repair work, got it home and fixed the monitor and found out the game was indeed playing, but it didn't draw half the sprites or most of the backgrounds and you couldn't finish a level. Had to buy another board.

I know an operator that has one. Its missing 1/2 the audio. I think the game uses an auxillary sound board to generate background audio. I would confirm all the audio is there before you buy it.
