Star Wars Trilogy Arcade in PT Cruiser...Will it Fit?

With the back seats removed, I've moved a Toobin' and a slew of pins with no problem, but would there be enough vertical height for a Star Wars Trilogy Arcade (stand-up; NOT deluxe) to fit in the PT?

If the cabinet's around 30" in depth and width, it should be cool, but that control panel might be the monkey wrench.

What kind of depth does that machine have from the front of the CP to the back?

I use to own a cruiser and I have a Star Wars Trilogy (that I will be listing for sale here soon, if anyone is interested let me know) and am going to say most likely not. We had a hard time fitting much of anything in our cruiser. They are great cars, just a little small when it comes to moving things.

The upright Star Wars Trilogy cab is 79" H, 30.25" W and 37" D.
The optional Namco seat accessory is a whole other beast.

I don't know the whole story behind this accessory as to how Namco was licensed to create this for a Sega game (the mold has been used on numerous other games also) but it basically converts the standard Star Wars Trilogy upright into a sitdown cab. It connects to (the main cab has a factory harness for it) and matches the upright cab very well and has a sealed 12" sub under the seat along with speakers on either side of the headrest. It completely transforms the "experience" of playing it from it's standard upright version.......in other words, the lightsaber hum tickles your balls.

I lucked out and was able to find a seat for mine about 2 years after I bought my upright. Now my 3 year old plays this nearly exclusively.

Ugh this reminds me of the time I passed on a chance to snag one of those uprights with the seat mod. It was on eBay in Ohio for something like $300 BIN working, but I took to much time to think about it before it sold.

Yeah, you should have jumped all over that for $300. Bummer. :(

By the way, after having the machine in my possession, I can pretty much say that trying to cram in into a PT Cruiser would be completely futile. This sumbitch is just too damn big.

Too big. From experience, cocktails fit fine in a PT (had two of them in there at once) and cabaret machines as well (fit a Dig Dug cabaret). Full-size machines will not fit in a PT. The best you'll be able to do is fit one in there most of the way, with about 10" sticking out the back. If you can secure it in there and not have the top banging on the machine the whole way home, fine. Otherwise, I suggest you find another way to do it.

Take the rear seats out...

I fit a pinball machine in mine! Closed the rear door too, so it was nice and protected.

Is that what you consider not much?

There's more than enough room for pins in a PT; I've moved several in mine.

And standard arcade cabs are doable, too, as long as you put a pillow or something between the game and the hatch and tie the hatch down.

But big-ass cabs like Star Wars Trilogy Arcade? Hell-to-the-no.

Aha! I didn't even think about a pillow between the hatch and the game. Great idea! That could very well save me some bucks next time I want to pick up a standard machine.

Without damaging ours the only thing we could fit in ours was a Time Capsule Machine. A pinball can be broken down, arcades cannot. I'm sure if you tried hard enough you may get it to fit but no promise on how your seats will look when your finished.

I have a seat I might sell, but am not sure what they are worth. Any idea guys?
I have always wanted to connect it to any of my games, but have never gotten around to it.
Little far for you zutton since I am down by Philly.

I gotta find a seat now!!!!!!!!!!!!
