STar Wars & Superman Pinball picking up Sunday night!!!

Late last night I finalized a deal to pick up a Star Wars (non working) for $100. The guy claimed it was complete with no water damage, no gashes in the sides and was complete. He then told me a number of people inquired about his pinball that he picked up from Coney Island way back. It was Atari's Superman for $200. According to his descriptions, the back glass is not flaking nor cracking and the entire pin is complete. However it is not fully functional. Even if it was parted out, it is worth more than $200. I sent him money and am picking them up Sunday night. pics will follow!!

I am pumped...

I hope you can get that Superman running. I have one, and it is an awesome machine. You will have a lot of fun with it if you can get it fixed.

Big 'if' there! Those Atari pins are a beast sometimes to get working again. They're really cool, though, so if you do get it working you'll have something that you don't see very often. I had an Airborne Avengers once.

The first one Brent! But I still want the cockpit version!

Also, I wound up picking these up 2 weeks later. The superman pin is in excellent shape. The guy was slowly restoring it. The Star Wars was sitting in his garage for many years. He told me he bought both from a coney island auction. The superman will work again. He did not give me details since i was in a rush and i was getting such a great deal on the pin ($200). The playfield is MINT! The back glass is MINT! If I get it fully running, I will probably keep it.

which star wars is it ??

Here are two pics...

You should ask him about the Battlezone in your SW pic while you're at it, maybe you can get three for the price of 2?

Never mind, I see that you already have them since your original post, my badd!

Funny you say that. I am selling the Batlezone AND the star wars. I turned on the star wars and it plays blind. That is fine but then I look over all the projects I have in my garage and said no way. I just bought a Crazy Climber (Taito) and need the room. So I posted Star Wars, Battlezone and am tossing around the idea of selling the Superman Pinball.
