Looking for some help with troubleshooting this, this is a previously "playing blind" Star Wars with a WG6100 monitor, the WG6100 was purchased as "fully working"- although unable to confirm or connect to another game at this time to verify. Monitor was put in and hooked up, and the screen is collapsed in equal lenghts on both sides, and the lettering that comes up on the screen is garbled or distorted a little in some places (see pics, hard to really describe!).

So I was hoping to get some input on this- Does this appear to be a monitor problem, PCB problem, or both? What would be the proper order of trouble shooting this one?

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

As you can see in this pic, the screen does not spread out to both sides like it
s supposed to:

Main thing to look at on this pic is the bottom letters, they are sqashed/garbled

#1 you have convergence issues.
#2, Id bet its a monitor issue. Looks like either the protection circuit (if equipped) is clipping the signal, or something is messed up on the biasing. Is it just vertical or is it both?

bringing this post back from the dead because I am having almost the same issue. It isnt quite as bad and it takes a few minutes for it to happen, and it only occurs in the bottom but it is pretty similar..Anyone know how to fix this?
