I've got a Star Wars I'm looking at. It plays well, but I'm concerned about the monitor.
It's almost certainly a 6100 as I can see some screen burn on the left side during the Death Star explosion where it says, Insert Coin, but the text is rotated 90 degrees. It was obviously mounted vertically in another cab.
The picture seems... a little fuzzy and would appear to need a degaussing. The top left corner looks like it has had some magnetic interference. In the ad the seller says that the monitor was recently serviced. I'll get more details on what exactly that means, but am I looking at some monitor adjustments to fix the focus and a hitting it with a degaussing coil or something much more involved?
What are the tube swap options for a 6100?
What about getting tinted glass to hide the burn a bit?
