Star Wars on ebay

I asked him about the $350 and offered to pick it up Saturday. He never responded. I think he now thinks he can get more than that for the game.

If you're really savvy with repairing vector pcbs (and don't mind a water-damaged grungy cabinet) then it might be a good deal. But if you're hoping to restore it to full glory, I wouldn't go much higher than that $350. Can't tell you how many times I said, "Oh boy! A cheap beater I can fix up!" and ended up paying more to fix it up than I could have paid for a fully working one in really nice condition (my Tapper and Galaga for starters).

If you live in Phoenix, hammer him about that $350 buy it now, maybe you could get a good deal.

At $103, it's already more than I would spend on it... :001_ssad:

Hopefully, someone from here nabs and restores it... Although the cab looks relatively bad.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it were close enough to pick up. But then I buy everything I can get my hands on (for cheap anyway).

Alright, who got it? I tried, the drive and cab condition had me hesitating though.

Congrats to whomever! :)

Might have to grab one of Dave's shiny new ones here soon!

I had to talk myself out of driving to get it (several times), but 23 hours in the truck was just not worth it. Wanted the Gyruss he was selling too - it went for the same price. just nuts.

Like I said, I emailed and offered to pay him $350 for it, like he commented in the questions section, but he didn't reply until today and said that he had decided just to let the auction run its course.

I think he thought he'd get more the second time around (and with people asking about it), but he ended up getting less. Oh well, his loss. Saves me a drive to Phoenix, though it would be worth it for a $200 Star Wars.
