Star Wars Marquee Frame

It's the "Holy shit" comment that got me, as if he was way over priced. Sorry, but I am just tired of people on here wanting guys to bust their asses repairing, making and selling things for
next to nothing. You don't want to pay the price, no problem, but no need to make him feel bad for what he is charging to the point where he starts to explaining what all goes into it. He should be charging a lot more to make it worth his time.

Sorry I didn't have my ARCREVIVAL filter set to "active" when I posted that Dave. You know I'm usually extra sensitive to how YOU may interpret my posts.

That said... since we're breaking down each others posts... your "YOU'RE WHATS WRONG WITH THIS HOBBY" posts really get my ass chapped... but I don't see you doing much to curb your bullying around here... perhaps I should stop defending them as "misplaced enthusiasm" and simply admit that you post them simply to "be a dick" and a "bully"?

personally, i took no offense to it. If it was a flat part, i charge alot less. I just did a control panel for someone on here, and charged 20.00 + shipping. Some people think because a part is small, it should cost less, without knowing what it takes to make certain parts. I was charging 50.00 + shipping. I sent one 2 states away for 11.00 and one went to oregon, and it was 25 + just to ship it. I just wanted to explain how i make them, and that the CNC part of making it is minor compared to all the hand work that goes into them.

I like woodworking, that's why i make cabinets and parts. I am slowing down a bit with being stuck working away from home for a while, and want to branch out into some other arcade related things.

It's funny how two little words can make everyone ignore the rest of what was said. I felt I had to reply with my original post so that people that are new to the hobby wouldn't get the impression that DPtwiz's offering was overpriced. While I wont' pay for an oil change or simple maintenace on my vehicles I will always pay for major mechanical repairs.

Frizz's post reads like a different post altogether if you leave off the "Holy Shit". Who can argue with the post below?

While I appreciate the work involved, I just personally can't justify the asking price.

Anyone have a used one they wanna sell? PM me... otherwise I'm rebuilding this bad boy. Perhaps I can carve out the current particle board and repro just the frame part... doesn't look too hard with the right tools (router, saw).
