Here is the link to our Star Wars hotseat. This is a way cool game and makes Star Wars a very hard game to play. The guy in the video is 6 foot 5 so the game looks like a tight fit for him, but even a small guy finds it a glove fit.

This is just a 30-second test run while Myagi checked for harness clearance. A full video will be released in a few days.

Thanks for the vid post!

I don't understand what causes it to move though...is it the direction of the yoke is moved. It doesn't seem to match in the video.

Overall, awesome!

Cool That would be interesting to try. Time to see how long it take to get motion sick! :)
Thanks for showing that!

It looks like the direction of the yoke does indeed control the side to side movement. What controls the vertical though?

Very cool, I bet it would be a blast to play in the dark.

Direction appears to be working via the yoke ...same with vertical back and forth based on the handle axis...

This is an XPS file for the control interface schematic.

The "old guy" is my best test pilot - he can break anything (I was watching for harness clearance).

As I said, this is a teaser video. A full write-up, with photos and the works, is being put together and will be published in a few days. It'd be best to see which questions aren't answered by it...

very cool... now get it to spin completely and tumble when you get hit .. :)

sure makes the game more interactive...

I really want to play that and have been waiting to see these pics. That thing really moves, not just little side-to-side crap. I want one.

Thanks for making the video, I have wanted to see one of these for a long time. It looks creaky and like its very dangerous, if I saw one in an arcade I would have to try it though because it does look like fun. Thankfully I don't have motion sickness.

Leinhit, you would have to get Star wars into a galaxy force II cabinet for that to happen, which would also be cool, as would tempest in a galaxy force II cabinet.
