Thinking about getting one of these. I got to play this up at CAX and loved it. Any opinions on it?

I'm seeing them listed around $2000 all day long. Not sure if they sell for that price though. Condition and location matter on this item. Same as any other Star Wars game. Heavily populated SW nerd-areas like my Portland and Eugene tend to see higher prices on these games because of the cross tie-in.

As low as..

I have seen them as low as $1500 here in California...and as high as $5000 (from some guy in Sacramento who is on CRACK!)

Anyway, ACEJEDI (joe) has one here in Sacramento and he is holding on to it for me until I get the cash together for it...his asking price is pretty fair since it is in good condition...I think he told me $1700 or something like that..

I like it, its an ok pin for SW nerds like me...LOL

I really liked my Star Wars machine I had (and then sold in 2007)!! Wish I would have kept that machine! I got it for a steal in almost mint condition! Jeez! Sometimes MONEY blinds me from my better decisions! haha

Good Luck in your search...honestly, in this economy, I wouldn't pay more than $1800 for one and it better be in pretty darn good condition!

(I edited this post because I had accidentially said I sold a Star Wars Trilogy pin, when I actually sold my Star Wars pin. The one made by Data East. I apologize for the typo. Sorry guys)

The one I'm looking to buy has less than 40hrs played on it and is in pristine condition. The guy is firm at $2K. I've seen them sell on ebay from $2600 to $3200 in the past so I'm thinking 2K is a fair deal on the one I'm buying. And I'm in Orange County where most games go for higher than average.

Yea..

Yea..thats a good price...I would get it for that if I was you..seems fair!

Post picks if you do end up getting it!!

Seems like a good fair price to me especially if it is in good condition. I played one every other day locally here and loved playing it. Then again I am a casual Star Wars fan so that might have a little to do with it. It's a fun experience and plays well as it is a Williams machine. I personally really enjoy the seamless integration of the monitor into the game for the different modes.

Still have mine and its 1800.00 . New computer, new power supply, new lightsaber transformer new rubbers, completly shopped. I wouldn't talk to anybody trying to get more than 2500.00 for one. Mine will be 2000.00 if LaserFan doesn't buy it as he's a friend that's why I went 1800.00.

A very nice SWE1 for $2K is a good deal. Don't hesitate. The Pin2K machines are a great bargain... that's a lot of pinball bang for your buck.

Horrible game!!! one repetive shot for all the modes...Save you cash for a Revenge from Mars, it's alot better!!!!

Totally wrong S.W. is so much better than Revenge from Mars.
I would get a Fun House or Addams Family before any of those though.

idk about one shot since I don't have the layout in front of me but I do know revenge was a lot more fun. I didnt like the episode one when I played it

I just picked it up & this thing looks like it just came out of the box! I'll post pics later!

I don't like either E1 or RFM I sold my RFM for 1500.00 to a very good friend. I am a huge SW fan and I can't get into but too each his own some people love them its the PIN2K style that I don't like not the games. I want a twilight Zone! Congrats on getting your EP1 enjoy it.

Yeah, i bought an SW:Ei NIB for $4245 when they came out. I sold it 4 or 5 years ago for $3200. I'm a big SW fan so thats why I bought it.
I just got another TZ and it's a great game but I think it'll be FS soon.

I've got a RFM and a few years ago I bought a NIB SWE-1 conversion kit from Germany. I like both games, but RFM is the one we play more often.

One thing to consider- RFM was never released as a "kit" per se like SWE-1 was, so if you'd like to be able to swap between games in one cabinet, you'll need to start with a RFM.

FWIW (see how many abbreviations I can get in one post), two SWE-1 pins sold at the KCMO auction in Grandview last weekend around 1K and they were working.

I should point out for the uninitiated- swapping between games takes less than 30 minutes since the system is very well designed.
