We have a SWE1 Williams P2K pinball that is giving is display issues.
The monitor will seem to lose horizontal sync ( "Shakes" "quivers" back and forth from left to right really fast). We checked the motherboard in the computer system for bad caps. There don't appear to be any. We have even checked the powersupply and it seems to be fine.
It seems that when cold it had a higher chance of booting up and the display being normal. After five to ten min it would be back to freaking out again.
Sometimes resetting it and letting it off overnight didn't make a difference, it would still shake the instant we plugged it in.
We've gone over all connections.
We sent the monitor chassis out to PNL games to have it repaired, they did some work to it and when we first got it back it seemed to work but then started freaking out again.
I don't know enough about them to know if its a prism card issue or what could be the problem.
We have tried the monitor control board lol....
Somewhat not sure what to do here?
We also have the Revenge from Mars pin if we could somehow use it to "test" parts. It works fine. I just wish our Star Wars would work now!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
