Star War's Empire Strikes Back Kits

Pretty busy building and shipping the Sega Multigame's for the next few days, then
next week is testing the final version of the 6100 deflection boards. Got some proto
boards in for the new SW/ESB kits so I thought I would share some pics. They should
be available soon. (can't give an exact date or price yet.)

SW/ESB Kits

I can answer this (disclaimer, not my project, just FYI) there really isn't an industry standard pin designed to interface with DIP sockets. What some kit builders use is a cheap square post that's readily available from common vendors, Jameco, Digikey, etc, the problem is it ruins sockets by over stretching the tension wipers inside them.

The correct pin is a smaller round gold plated item from Mill Max, but those are pricey and not often stocked, in addition they often have large minimums (as in the thousands).

Yes, from what I have seen Clay & Mark's kits use the square post pins which stretch out the dip sockets to where there are hardly usable anymore. I use the round Mill Max type of
pins on all my boards.

Mike looks like another slam dunk.
I still have Clay's SW/ESB kit new in the box but if your's switches between the games without adding a switch or turning the game off then I would rather have your new kit. Looking at the boards it also looks a lot simpler to install.
Now that my Multi Sega is up and running, it's time to get my Star Wars out of storage and get it running.
Wow, what a year for vector multigames. :D

Just put me on the list for 2 of everything you plan on making...

Seriously.

Thank you for your efforts.
