Pretty busy building and shipping the Sega Multigame's for the next few days, then
next week is testing the final version of the 6100 deflection boards. Got some proto
boards in for the new SW/ESB kits so I thought I would share some pics. They should
be available soon. (can't give an exact date or price yet.)

Pic1: main PCB
Pic2: prom replacement PCB
Pic3: sound upgrade PCB
Pic4: vector rom PCB

ADDED 08/27/2011

KIT PRICE IS $175 + 8.95 SHIPPING.

Will there be some other way to switch between both games, or will it be necessary to have a button switch installed as with past SW/ESB kits?

I had read somewhere in the forums about members having trouble putting the original chips back after installing one of the prior multi game kits for esb. I think the multi kit made the sockets wider then the original chip legs were, so the orignal chips weren't staying put like they had before the installation of the multi kit.

Can anyone chime in if they experienced this symptom? I can't remember who it was.

Do you forsee a similar problem with your new kit? I'm interested, but wish to reverse it if I ever sold my machine. I'd be interested in your thoughts on the matter.

This is great news! Can't wait. Add me to any list that may or may not exist.

No kidding...not only the 6100 stuff, but now this. I'm in for sure, probably for 2 or 3 of these.

I can answer this (disclaimer, not my project, just FYI) there really isn't an industry standard pin designed to interface with DIP sockets. What some kit builders use is a cheap square post that's readily available from common vendors, Jameco, Digikey, etc, the problem is it ruins sockets by over stretching the tension wipers inside them.

The correct pin is a smaller round gold plated item from Mill Max, but those are pricey and not often stocked, in addition they often have large minimums (as in the thousands).
