Ok. This is a tad difficult for me to explain.

I picked up a Star Wars for my friend. It plays great except....

When we hit Level 5, the graphics start becoming distorted to the point it unplayable. It does not seems to be a heat issue because the graphics do not act this way when it has been on for a while, it's just when you get to level 5.

1. Is it possibly because there are so many objects on screen at that point that the monitor can't supply enough voltage?

2. Is it a heat issue where the processor begins to overheat when there are more objects on screen?

3. ROM issue?

4. Overall low voltage issue from power supply?

A picture (or video) is worth a thousand words! :)

Does EVERYTHING distort? X-Wing and fireballs too?

It never hurts to check your voltages on the boards (unless you short something out!) while your friend plays level 5.
