The damn vertical/horizontal orientation is confusing me here. :p

Star Wars is a horizontal monitor game, correct?

The spot killer is on but with the brightness turned all the way up, I can see a bit of the screen on the top half but nothing on the bottom half.

So. . .

From the 6100 FAQ, I'm interperiting the monitor's issue to possibly be with Q606 as it says:

Q606: -Y (bottom) for horizontal; +X (right) for vertical

Just want to confirm that that is correct: Q606 controls deflection for the bottom of the screen on Star Wars.

TIA!

Q606 controls bottom right quadrant. Q706 controls bottom left quadrant.

Okay. 606 had the white wire that was actually hanging on by a thread.

Now, it seems I have very, very faint deflection on the whole screen with the brightness turned all the way up. And the pic only shows up sometimes.

So, guess it's on to recapping the HV cage as I've done the Bob deluxe kit on the transistors and deflection board.
