Greetings all

I'm installing an LV2000 to the deflection board on my Star Wars with a WG6100

SEE ATTACHED PICTURES

On the backside of the deflection board there is a jumper wire that seems to run between
C103 and ZD101

Should I remove this as I install the LV2000, or leave it?

Any ideas why it's there in the first place?

thanks much!

Rob

Anyone?

Looking for some insight on this jumper wire

Thx

Rob

It looks like it is just an extra wire across the buss. Maybe the solder pads came off on an earlier repair.?? Can't tell from pic two, as it gets blurry......

Once LV2000 is installed, would this "jump" still be needed?

Or would it be irrelevant due to the removal of the original LV parts?

Thx

There was a mod going on a long time ago (started bitd) that got rid of all the low voltage power supply parts and just drove the positive and negative rails on the monitor at whatever DC voltage the supply could generate. I cant tell from the pics or the video if that jumper is just a bridge on a single trace or if its jumping across two traces. A better close up pic might help.
