ok...the short and sweet: i have an intermittent sound issue with my DE star wars....the sound works fine 90% of the time but every once in a while it will be all effed up.

- it usually happens when the pin is on for multiple hours at a time, but it HAS happened when it was on for 35-45 minutes before.

- most of the time, the "music" will totally cut out and it will only play the sound effects

- the rest of the time, it will totally cut the music out and play the sound effects, but also play random clips of "may the force be with you" by obi-wan. and this happens at totally random points of play in the overall gameplay....it may say it at ball launch, it may say it at a ramp, it may say it when you hit the death star.

any ideas? is this a common problem?

***and i should also note that this problem seems to be TEMPORARILY CORRECTED by turning the game off, letting it sit for a half hour or so, and then turning it back on.***

***and, if i just play it for a few minutes, the problem almost never arises....***

something is getting hot, are the connectors burnt? until you can find the real issue , maybe you can put a couple of computer tower sized fans in the cab to keep it cool(im considering this anyway)

but im sure shardian or lindsey will know more/ ask me where they can get what im smoking :)

get in there with some freeze spray.... I've even used alow watt soldering iron to "force" a bad part into acting up
goood luck
