I have 2 cabinets. game boards work great, but on one of them, the credits is acting funny.

Both boards have the same dip switches set. The one working great has the slide dip switches, the other has a rocker switches. Free Play is set

On the working board, free play is working but on the other board its not. Also, when I push the credit switch (insert a coin), it take 3-4 before it registers the switch hit (the other times nothing happens, no coin counter, no credit)

Any thoughts?

Hey Barry !

When the machine is start up for the very first time (ever) or after the NOVRAM has been reset, it will read the dip-switches and copy the values into the NOVRAM.
Then, you can change everything in the set-up screens. (Game Options)

The changed values/settings are stored in the NOVRAM and the physical DIP switch settings are ignored from that point, unless you reset the NOVRAM.

Cockpit manual page 2-3 :D

Andre,

You rock. works perfect now... :)

Manual? What is this manual that you speak of? :D

Used to be those folded papers with staples in the middle.
They were invented right after the papyrus scrolls.....

:D

(did you find that DK thingy ? ;) )

(oh, and it's the least thing I could do in return for all your help ! :))
